Terms of Use
Last updated: October 18, 2026
NewStart USA is operated by NEW START USA DIGITAL LLC. By using the service, you agree to use it lawfully and to provide accurate information when account ownership or a data request must be verified.
NewStart USA provides general organizational and educational information. It is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice, and is not affiliated with USCIS, DHS, ICE, any court, school district, or other government agency. Verify requirements with the relevant official source or a qualified professional.
Emergency information
NewStart USA is not an emergency-response service. Call 911 in the United States when there is immediate danger. SOS and trusted-contact features depend on device, network, permission, and service availability.
Your responsibilities
The iOS app is in pre-release testing. The current case-tracking integration uses USCIS sandbox data. Any future production monitoring depends on published USCIS information, scheduled checks, and service availability. It does not access your private myUSCIS account, detect every immigration event, submit applications, or replace official notices. AI-generated information may be incomplete or incorrect.
SOS does not automatically call 911, law enforcement, an attorney, or a government agency. Where enabled, a safety-check timer may attempt alerts after a missed check-in. Delivery and a recipient response are not guaranteed.
Planned SOS SMS program
SMS is not yet active, and this website does not enroll phone numbers. The following terms describe the planned NewStart USA SOS SMS program for consenting trusted contacts. Registration and delivery setup must be completed before SMS is enabled.
- Purpose: informational SOS alerts from NewStart USA about a person who designated you as a trusted contact. Alerts may contain their emergency message and a temporary location link. These are not marketing texts.
- Consent: before activation, recipients must separately agree to receive NewStart USA SOS texts. Being named as a contact, receiving an invitation, or accepting general app terms does not by itself give SMS consent. Consent is optional and is not a condition of purchase.
- Frequency and charges: message frequency will vary with SOS activity and service confirmations. Message and data rates may apply through your carrier.
- Opt out: once SMS is active, reply STOP to unsubscribe. A final confirmation may be sent. Opting out stops future SMS alerts, including SOS texts.
- Help: once active, reply HELP or email newstartusa.support@gmail.com. Support is not an emergency dispatch service.
- Delivery: mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Do not rely on SMS as your only way to request help.
Our Privacy Policy explains how phone numbers, consent records, and alert information are handled. Messaging opt-in information is not sold or shared for third-party marketing.
Responsible use
- Keep passwords, PINs, recovery codes, and devices secure.
- Upload only information you have the right to store or share.
- Do not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with other users.
- Confirm deadlines and requirements directly with official sources.
Availability and third-party content
Features may change, and temporary interruptions can occur. Links to external websites are provided for convenience; NewStart USA does not control or guarantee their accuracy, availability, or services.
No guarantee
To the extent permitted by law, NewStart USA is provided “as is” without guarantees of a particular immigration, legal, educational, financial, safety, or relocation outcome. These terms do not limit rights that cannot legally be limited.
